Blanca Hernandez
Blanca Hernandez is a long time immigrants' rights advocate. An immigrant, and formerly undocumented, she has advocated for the rights of undocumented youth as they navigate higher education, and the rights of people in fear of removal. However, Blanca's advocacy efforts are not limited to youth or within organizing spaces, she has worked in the field of direct legal services, policy, and administrative advocacy. Her efforts extend to immigrants and non-immigrants alike in the family, humanitarian, and business immigration areas.
Blanca believes that understanding enough of all practice areas makes an immigrants' rights advocate twice as effective. Nonetheless, she also believes the need for new "blood" in the immigration advocacy world is needed in order for a future to be effective.
Blanca currently resides in Texas.
