Jeff Weld

Jeff Weld advises STEM education leaders and organizations worldwide, specializing in policy guidance, program impact, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and resource discovery. His 40-year career spans roles at every level of STEM education. He served at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, led statewide innovation at the Iowa Governor’s STEM Council, inspired students as a decorated professor and administrator, and excelled as an award-winning high school teacher. Today, Jeff collaborates with practitioners, investors, developers, and policymakers alike to advance STEM education and promote universal prosperity. Jeff holds a B.S. in secondary education, a master’s degree in science education, and a Ph.D in science education from the University of Iowa.
