Danielle Feinberg

Visual Effects Supervisor
Pixar Animation Studios

Danielle Feinberg began her career at Pixar Animation Studios in 1997, starting as a render wrangler on A Bug’s Life and quickly rising to lead the otherwise all-male department. She went on to light many Pixar films, including Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, and the Oscar-winning Finding Nemo, Wall-E, Brave, and Coco. While working on the film Turning Red, she became the first woman in 20 years to hold the role of Visual Effects Supervisor at Pixar. Danielle frequently leads global talks, inspiring girls to pursue code, math, and science, and to explore the magic of combining art and technology in filmmaking. She lives in Oakland, CA with her wife and twins and holds a BA in computer science from Harvard University.
