Jill Leahy
Jill Leahy is a queer, Chilean-American, transracial adoptee, mom, community advocate and education enthusiast. She has lived in Massachusetts, New York and moved to Seattle, Washington in 2014 where she has lived with her cute family since.
Her career began in finance in New York City where she quickly realized her passion wasn't working in suits but instead the face paced environment of school. Her education career began as an AmeriCorps member in City Year New York. Since then her focus has been on education and community partnership. Currently working for Seattle Public School she is responsible for partner onboarding, ongoing professional development, integration, and communications. She works closely with the 200 community partners, school administrators and district employees who champion this work.
In her spare time you can find Jill on picnics in a park, walking my energetic dog, or trying to build something.
