Chanelle Brown

Chanelle Brown serves as Senior Manager of Equity and Leadership at the Children’s Council of San Francisco. In her role, she oversees DEI and policy programs including the Black Early Educator Policy Council and the ECE Equity Leadership Academy. She has provided communications counsel and technical assistance to dozens of non-profit organizations in ECE and worked as an aide to elected officials in Los Angeles and New York City. With 15 years of experience working at the intersections of policy, communications and advocacy, Chanelle is passionate about activating coalitions and empowering children and families.
