Nancy Kissam
Nancy is a middle/high school theatre teacher and director in Los Angeles where she has directed The Laramie Project, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Romi & Jules, a queer version of Shakespeare’s tragedy, and Mean Girls, the musical, to name a few. She is a native of New York where she wrote and directed several plays and received a Master's degree in Educational Theatre from NYU. She has written and directed work in Los Angeles such as her one-woman show, La La (Seven Women One Mouth) that LA Weekly called "expertly written…a forceful performance." Her feature film Drool, which she wrote and directed, can be found on Prime Video. Nancy’s play Mick & Beth Rule the School, a high school twist on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, has recently been published by Gitelman & Good Publishers.
