Holding a PhD in Education from New York University (NYU), he has dedicated his career to building a future where education serves as a catalyst for social and economic progress. As the Executive Director of Instituto Salto, Rafael leverages his deep expertise in research and technology to drive large-scale innovative solutions. His leadership journey includes serving as Secretary of Education for the Federal District in Brazil and forging impactful partnerships with global institutions. A co-author of How to Educate Families for Challenging Futures, he is also a member of the PNLD Technical Commission, a researcher at NEES/UFAL, and a leading voice in the field of emerging technologies in education.
