Brooke Stafford-Brizard
Brooke is the Carnegie Foundation's Vice President for Innovation and Impact, overseeing research and development activities and stewarding cross-sector partnerships to accelerate the Foundation's mission. Before this, she served as Vice President for Research to Practice at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. In that role, Brooke led the organization's grantmaking in education to support researchers, educators, and policymakers in transforming the education system toward one grounded in whole child development. She has also served as the data strategy and evaluation director at the New York City Department of Education's District 79. Brooke holds a doctorate from Columbia University, is a Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow, and is a member of the Aspen Institute's Global Leadership Network.
