Babak Mostaghimi

Babak is an educator and innovator who serves as a Founding Partner at LearnerStudio. At LearnerStudio, Babak leads collaborative learning and pilot efforts toward building a learner-centered future where young people are inspired and prepared to thrive in life, career, and democracy. He was previously an Assistant Superintendent in Gwinnett County Public Schools, where he led critical initiatives, including creating an early learning community ecosystem, developing a PK-12 AI and future readiness embedded learning model, and designing and supporting new innovative high schools. He began his education career as a 5th-grade teacher in Shelby, Mississippi. Babak holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership, a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard, and a Bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins.
