Clyne G.H. Namou
Dr. Clyne G. H. Namuo is the 10th president of Joliet Junior College, dedicated since 2022 to
strengthening the college's community ties. His notable initiatives include the 12x12x12 Dual
Credit, Future Wolves Program, Hispanic-Serving Institution designation, and Roots and
Branches Storytelling Campaign. Actively involved in organizations like the Higher Learning
Commission, he serves as a peer reviewer, Institutional Actions Council member, and diversity
committee chair. One of 20 CEOs on ACCT’s Advisory Committee, he writes on community
college strategy and fiscal management. Dr. Namuo holds a Ph.D. in higher education strategy,
an M.S. in information systems, and a B.A. in marketing.
