Dayamudra Dennehy

Dayamudra is tenured ESL faculty at City College of San Francisco with 3 decades of global classroom teaching experience. Her current area of interest is the ethical use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in higher education. She has served as a Stanford University EPIC Fellow and founded an educational non-profit with an India-based team, launching an educational residence in south India for caste-oppressed students. She has led community projects with Guatemalan Mayan weavers and Hungarian Gypsy/Roma artists, taught in Indonesia and studied in Japan and Mexico. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership, focused on Equity and Social Justice, and is an ordained Buddhist, teaching meditation and yoga workshops around the world. Her name means "Gesture of Compassion"
