Tory Hill
Dr. Tory C. Hill, Superintendent of Schools for Channelview ISD, is dedicated to creating personalized learning experiences. Born in Palmetto, Louisiana, and raised by his grandparents, he learned the importance of service and community impact early on.
As Superintendent, Dr. Hill serves nearly 10,000 students, focusing on innovative and responsible citizenship. He has launched a literacy initiative, enhanced CCMR programs, promoted student-centered learning, and expanded parent engagement.
Dr. Hill holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Florida A&M, and a Bachelor’s in Education from Southern University. Previously, he was Superintendent of Sweeny ISD, and has held various educational roles in Georgia, Florida, and Texas.
Recognized for his leadership, Dr. Hill has received numerous accolades, including being added to the Brazoria County Texas Business Hall of Fame and serving on multiple educational boards. He is married to Cassandra and has three daughters. Dr. Hill is committed to being a lifelong learner and a Merchant of Hope.
