Tory Hill

Dr. Tory C. Hill is a lifelong learner, a merchant of hope and the superintendent of Channelview ISD near Houston, Texas. Born in Palmetto, Louisiana, Dr. Hill learned the importance of service and community impact from his grandparents, who raised him. As superintendent, he is dedicated to creating personalized learning experiences for each of the district’s 10,000 students, with a focus on innovative and responsible citizenship. During his tenure a superintendent of Sweeny ISD and Channelview, Dr. Hill launched a literacy initiative, enhanced career readiness programs, promoted student-centered learning and expanded parent engagement.
