Ginger Carrabine, Superintendent in Bryan ISD, just completed her first year as superintendent at the end of March 2023. She is honored to serve and support 16,000 students and 3,000 employees of the district. Having served as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Superintendent, and now the Superintendent, she has firsthand experience meeting the needs of all students, maintaining positive momentum, and forging partnerships to best serve the school community. Carrabine remains committed to providing an excellent education for all students while affording choices and opportunities so every child can find their niche, excel, and be successful post-graduation.

Ms. Carrabine has served in district leadership roles spanning campus leadership to district-wide operations. Prior to joining Bryan ISD, she worked in Fort Bend ISD, a district with over 80,000 students, as Executive Director of Strategic Planning, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary and Secondary Principal, and a classroom teacher.

Stakeholder engagement is a top priority for Ms. Carrabine. She is currently leading the district wide effort to build a home in partnership with Habitat for Humanity for a deserving family in Bryan. She has empowered students to serve their community and to lead by example. There are countless community partnerships and a concerted effort to engage the parents, families, and staff for the common good of the school community.

Ms. Carrabine and her husband, Mike, a teacher and coach at Rudder High School, have three adult children who live in Austin, Houston, and Birmingham. They love living in Bryan and are proud to be a part of a school district that continues to play a leading role in making our community better.
