Suchitra Gururaj
Suchitra Gururaj, Ph.D., is a practitioner-scholar of community engagement who serves as assistant vice president for community and economic engagement and lecturer in the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Austin. She serves on boards for the Austin Economic Development Corporation, the Community Advancement Network of Austin, and the Commission of Economic and Community Engagement of the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities and is on the editorial board of the Michigan Journal for Community Service Learning. She holds a B.A. in English from Yale University, an A.M. in literature and theory from The University of Chicago, and a Ph.D. in educational administration from UT-Austin and is a Fulbright scholar.
