Srimansa (“Sri”) Gadde

Srimansa (“Sri”) Gadde, a high school junior from Austin, TX, is the secretary of The Paw Plan, a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping animals, “one paw at a time.” The Paw Plan strives to aid local shelters and promote animal welfare, connect students with volunteer opportunities, finance adoption fees for animals who are tougher to rehome, donate essential supplies to local shelters, and more! By addressing the needs of Austin’s shelters, they hope to address the overpopulation and understaffing issues locally, fill in the gaps of needed services, and cover the costs of fostering and adopting animals, which are the most effective strategies to mitigate shelter crowding and keep Austin a “no-kill” city.
