Roshelle Andrews

Roshelle Andrews is a Strategist with MAYA Consulting, a Latina-owned and led consulting firm that envisions a world where all children, youth, and adults live in nurturing communities with the resources and relationships necessary to thrive. She’s led in charter and traditional contexts as an Assistant Principal and centrally in the Office of Transformation and Innovation in Dallas ISD. In 2021, Roshelle became the primary caretaker for two of her cousins, ages 7 and 17, and her whole life was drastically altered. Despite a background in education, she was ill-equipped to navigate a cumbersome child welfare system. Roshelle's experiences fuel a passion for developing leaders’ capacity as community partners who proactively enhance children and family’s well-being beyond the classroom.
