Chris Fried

Chris has worked in education for more than 20 years, as a high school teacher, administrator, and dean of teacher education at Sitting Bull College. He holds an Ed.D. from the University of West Georgia School of Education in School Improvement and Adult Learning. At Sitting Bull College, he teaches classes in early childhood, elementary education, and curriculum and instruction. He also organizes class schedules, recruits and advises students, and serves on the program assessment and curriculum committees. He is an associate board member for North Dakota Association of Colleges with Teacher Education (NDACTE) and a project director and supervisor for multiple grants, including grants focused on Lakota immersion and training Native American students as teachers.
