Marcellino Melika

A Horatio Alger New York State Scholar and a USC Bovard Scholar, Marcellino Melika is a rising senior at Francis Lewis High School in Queens, New York. This past spring he reported for The Bell’s P.S. Weekly podcast, and before that, he was an intern for The Bell’s Summer Youth Podcast Academy. He has also participated in a journalism internship with City limits, and served as a staff writer for his school’s newspaper, FLHS News. Marcellino is published in the Journal of Dawning Research, and he is a current research intern at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Marcellino enjoys playing cello in his school’s string orchestra.
