Lewis Leiboh
As Deputy Director of K-12 Education at the Gates Foundation, Lewis leads the K-12 Education Research & Development team, which supports innovations and technology in math learning. He is highly knowledgeable on how emerging technologies, like artificial intelligence, can improve math outcomes for students. Previously, Lewis led edtech partnerships and business development at Google and guided Teach for America's national team through edtech and data systems initiatives. He spent ten years at Teach for America, including as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to TFA, Lewis helped launch and manage a start-up software firm. He holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MEd from Arizona State University.
