Lindsey Galvao

Lindsey draws upon a decade of classroom experience to design social studies curriculum, and is a key curriculum developer for GBH’s U.S. History and Civics Collections, as well as other bespoke resources. She also supports professional development serving as a panelist on educator webinars, and is the main ambassador working with the Education Department’s Civics Leadership Council. Lindsey has extensive curriculum writing experience having designed and implemented curriculum for elective courses including Jim Crow in America, Colonial America, and Wealth and Poverty in America. More recently, Lindsey wrote and implemented a curriculum aligned with the Association of White Anti-Racism Educators. She holds a B.A. in History from Northwestern University and an M.A. in History from Brown.
