Dr. Karp is an expert in transforming companies & communities. As President & CEO of MAGNET, he’s helped hundreds of manufacturing companies grow through tech, innovation & talent. He’s Board Chair of Cleveland/Cuyahoga County Workforce Development & on the boards of: American Small Manufacturers Coalition, Cleveland Leadership Center, MidTown Cleveland, Cleveland Jewish Publication Company & Jewish Education Center of Cleveland. Dr. Karp is a recognized thought leader & frequent national media commentator on the future of American manufacturing. He previously worked with Fortune 500 companies at McKinsey & Co. Dr. Karp received undergraduate degrees in biochemistry & physics from Miami University & a PhD in Chemical Biology from Harvard. He lives in Cleveland with his wife & 3 daughters.
