Candelario Cervantez

Candelario is a business executive who opens educational opportunities to historically underrepresented and underserved communities and a champion for educational equity and excellence. He is also a strong advocate of the promotion and advancement of diverse leaders in all industries. He is a strategic planning executive with over 20 years of expertise in the areas of external affairs, relationship management, and non-profit management. Currently, he is the National Senior Managing Director of Equity and Belonging at Teach For America. Candelario holds an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, certificates from Rice University’s Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership, and a certificate in Board Leadership from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
