Jael Chac

Jael Chac, Multilingual Support Consultant for R10 ESC, began her teaching career in Irving, TX, as a bilingual teacher. She later served as an interventionist, curriculum writer, instructional coach, and Title III coordinator. With extensive experience leading professional development in various districts across Region 10, Jael is dedicated to empowering educators and families to support emergent bilingual and newcomer students. Currently serving as Past President for the Bilingual/ESL Education Association of the Metroplex, she is a passionate advocate for equitable education. Jael lives with her husband and two sons, enjoys traveling, attending her sons' sporting events, and relaxing by a cozy window with a good book.
