Kapil Dhingra

Dr. Kapil Dhingra is a board-certified Emergency Physician for The Permanente Medical Group and serves as the Physician-in-Chief and Chief of Staff for the Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center, where he oversees clinical operations, quality, safety, and finances. As Chief of Staff, he represents the voice of clinicians and ensures alignment with the organization’s mission and vision. Additionally, he serves on the TPMG Board of Directors, and as Board Chair of the Benefits and Compensation Committee.
In June 2024 Dr. Dhingra was elected to the Asian Pacific Fund (APF) Advisory Council to support APF’s mission.
Dr. Dhingra received his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MD/MBA from Tulane University.
