Maya Israel

Maya Israel, Ph.D. is an associate professor of Educational Technology and Computer Science Education at the University of Florida. She is the Director of the CSEveryone Center for Computer Science Education. Her research focuses on strategies for supporting students with disabilities’ meaningful engagement in K-12 C) and AI education. She and her collaborators have received approximately $20 million in funding from agencies including the National Science Foundation, Google, and private philanthropy for projects focused on CS and AI teacher professional learning, instructional practices within CS and AI education to make them accessible to all learners, and innovations in CS and AI education.
