Nick Moore

Nick Moore is the director of Alabama’s Governor’s Office of Education and Workforce Transformation under Governor Kay Ivey. He leads efforts to align Alabama’s education and workforce programs, implement the state longitudinal database system, and develop competency-based education and skills-based hiring systems. Nick has spearheaded initiatives such as the learning and employment record, a skills-based job description generator, and a human-centered public workforce system to help Alabamians overcome barriers to employment. A native of Enterprise, Alabama, Nick served as a Teach for America corps member and has held various educational and policy roles.
