Whitney Soule

Vice Provost and Dean of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania Whitney Soule has more than three decades of experience in higher education.

She serves on the Common App Board, the College Board Enrollment Leaders Group and the Advisory Core for the College Board Admissions Research Consortium. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the NACAC Character Focus Initiative, which supports college admissions counseling professionals as they elevate character-related attributes in the admissions process.

Before Penn, she was Senior Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Student Aid at Bowdoin College. Her career began at Bates College. She also held positions at Connecticut College and Bowdoin College. She has a B.A. from Bates College and an M.Ed. from Harvard University.
