Vibhavari Vempala

Vibha Vempala is a PhD student in Engineering Education Research and a Student Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Center for Academic Innovation. Vibha’s research focuses on improving the experiences and outcomes of engineering students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. She uses qualitative and quantitative research methods to explore how students' emotional experiences, access to opportunities, and social networks shape their careers. At CAI, she is primarily involved with research supporting student learning through educational technology tools. Additionally, Vibha is the Co-President of Graduate Rackham International and has previously served as the Co-Director of the Graduate Society of Women Engineers, both student organizations at the University of Michigan.
