Maryam Zoweil

Maryam is a Canfield scholar at UT Austin, pursuing majors in business honors and data science and minors in entrepreneurship and public policy. At YIP, she manages the analysis of education initiatives and co-develops curriculum around current events. Maryam's focus is on utilizing social entrepreneurship and data science to empower youth and promote social change in our society. Outside of her role at YIP, Maryam has actively contributed to several initiatives promoting intercultural understanding and sustainable innovation, including her roles as a Scholar and Mentor in the AFS Global STEM Academies, Youth Advisor in Headstream's Youth 2 Innovator program, Council Member in Austin’s Youth Climate Equity Council, and Junior Achievement Global Youth Advocate.
