Maryam Zoweil

Maryam Zoweil is a Canfield Business Honors student at UT Austin. As the Director of Education Data Analytics at YIP, she manages the analysis of YIP's curriculum and co-develops activities around current events. Maryam's focus is on utilizing entrepreneurship and statistics to empower youth with the practical skills to become change makers. Outside of YIP, Maryam has actively contributed to several initiatives promoting intercultural understanding and sustainable innovation, including her roles as a Facilitator for the AFS Global STEM Accelerators, Youth Advisor in Headstream's business accelerator, and Council Member in Austin’s Youth Climate Equity Council. Maryam is also the second author on YIP’s peer-reviewed data study exploring the effects of our discourse-based civics activities.
