Daisha Brabham
Daisha Brabham is Director of Education and Public Outreach at Yale's Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance and Abolition (GLC) and the Social Studies Certification Coordinator at Southern Connecticut State Univ. (SCSU). She is also an adjunct faculty member at SCSU and a steering committee member of the Anti-Racist Teaching & Learning Collective. She has a BS in secondary education from SCSU and MA in public history from the Royal Holloway Univ. (London, UK), which she attended as a Fulbright scholar. Her research interests include transnational black resistance movements and black feminist print culture. Before joining the GLC at Yale, she worked as a high school social studies teacher and teacher educator. She is also an accomplished playwright.
