Jennifer Morgan

Jennifer Morgan is the President of the National Council for Social Studies (NCSS) and a current 8th-grade U.S. history teacher in West Salem, Wisconsin. She also currently serves as the Executive Director of External Affairs at the Wisconsin Council for Social Studies and previously served as a member of the writing team for the revised Wisconsin Social Studies Standards. She has also chaired the Rho Kappa Advisory Council of NCSS, where she oversaw the creation of the Junior Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Program and scholarship for high school members. She holds a Bachelor of Science in social studies education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Master of Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
