Tricia McManus

Tricia McManus has served as the superintendent at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools since 2021. As superintendent, she is leading an ambitious and equity driven strategic plan focused on increasing opportunity and access and eliminating all data disparities. She started her career at Hillsborough County Public Schools (Florida) as a teacher and then moved into positions of assistant principal, principal, director of leadership development, and assistant superintendent. Prior to being appointed as the leader of North Carolina's fourth largest school system, she served as the deputy superintendent in the district.
