Gerardo Munoz

Gerardo is an educator, author, speaker, and digital media producer. He started his career as a social studies teacher and emphasized the power of student voice and leadership in order to build and elevate communities. He was named 2021 Colorado teacher of the year and now he manages all programs and supports for aspiring teachers and new educators in DPS. He produces and co-hosts the podcast, Too Dope Teachers and a Mic where he “remixes the conversation on race, power, and education.”
