Allison Gerber
Allison Gerber oversees the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s investments in employment and career-focused education and training. Her work focuses on improving employment opportunities for low-income families. Prior to joining the foundation, Allison was the executive director of the District of Columbia’s Workforce Investment Council and a senior associate with the Aspen Institute’s Workforce Strategies Initiative. She also previously served as staff counsel and the director of special projects with American Community Partnerships. She currently serves on the board for the organization Housing Up, which works to advance economic empowerment. Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in American studies and public administration from Sweet Briar College and a law degree from Tulane University.
