Karen Nussle

Karen Nussle is CEO of Ripple Communications, a marketing and communications consulting firm. Previously she served as President of Conservative Leaders for Education (CL4E), a startup non-profit that she conceived and founded with former Education Secretary William J. Bennett, that networked and supported state-based education policy leaders. Karen also led the Collaborative for Student Success, a communications advocacy effort to promote and defend high academic standards and associated high-quality state tests. She served in several capacities on Capitol Hill, most notably as Assistant to the Speaker of the House, and also had a long career as a public affairs specialist at one of Washington’s top lobbying firms. Karen has an MA in communications from the University of Maryland.
