Jennifer Adams
Dr. Adams is the Director of the Center for Empathy in Medicine, an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, and the director of the primary care residency track at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. For the past twenty years, she has maintained an Internal Medicine Practice at Gouverneur Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, caring for predominantly underserved and under-resourced populations. A graduate of Bowdoin College, Dr. Adams received her MD from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She serves on numerous educational boards including Xavier University of Louisiana and Bowdoin College. She also serves on the boards of the POLG Foundation, the Boardman Cottage and the Liu Shiming Art Foundation.
