Veronica Chua
Veronica Chua is a 3rd-year high school science teacher for the School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While she has taught multiple subjects and grade bands, she currently teaches 9th and 10th grade biology and environmental science at Benjamin Franklin High School. As an educator, Veronica strongly believes in the value of “learning science by doing science,” and makes continuous efforts to emphasize student-led inquiry in her practice. This past year, Veronica worked with the Franklin Institute (TFI) to co-create professional development tools that teachers around the world could use to strengthen inquiry skills in their students.
