Rajika Bhandari

Dr. Rajika Bhandari is a scholar-practitioner in international higher education, author of the award-winning book, America Calling: A Foreign Student in a Country of Possibility, and the host of the World Wise podcast on education, culture, and migration. Widely regarded as an expert on international students and international education, she provides research-based strategic guidance to higher education institutions and nonprofits through her firm, Rajika Bhandari Advisors. She has also served on the US National Commission to UNESCO and taught at Columbia University. In 2023 she was appointed to the National Academy for International Education, a learned society whose global membership consists of distinguished practitioners and thought leaders in international higher education.
