Brooke McKean is the Co-CEO and President of REACH Pathways, a social enterprise subsidiary of Chicago Scholars, where she leads the development and scaling of an innovative technology platform connecting under-resourced students with college and career opportunities. At REACH, Brooke has raised over $1.5M in investment and grant funding, securing multiple awards, including the SXSW Pitch for Future of Work and a spot on Fast Company's World Changing Ideas list. Previously, as President of Chicago Scholars, Brooke developed a strategic plan to reach 1 million students and launched impact metrics demonstrating a $6.8 billion increase in student earnings. Brooke has over 12 years of executive-level experience in rapidly growing social impact organizations. At a global human rights organization, she expanded operations from $8M to $25M annually, overseeing 350+ employees across 12+ countries. Brooke is a values-based leader that excels at driving large-scale initiatives and building successful programs that foster economic mobility for under-resourced communities.
