Karen Anderson
Karen is a results-driven policy leader with more than 30 years of executive experience in academia and the private, government, and nonprofit sectors. She serves as Managing Director of the Social Finance Institute, a new field-building platform within the non-profit Social Finance that leverages insights from practitioners and experts to develop actionable resources to advance outcomes-based funding models to measurably improve people’s lives. She has committed most of her career to evidence-informed policymaking, with previous leadership roles with the University of Chicago's Becker Friedman Institute for Economics, The Hamilton Project at Brookings, and Results for America. She is the veteran of two White Houses (Clinton and Obama). She is the proud mother of three wonderful children.
