Jennifer Fischer

Jennifer Fischer is a writer, mediamaker and teaching artist whose work has been featured by NBCLatino, ABC, Univision, Fusion, NBCBLK, etc.
She recently became the Executive Director of Journeys In Film after working as their Director of Programs and Outreach for 18 months. She has developed curriculum for LA’s BEST, the Metta Center for Nonviolence, AcadeMe and in conjunction with the Outreach Center for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University.
Fischer's writing has also been featured by Ms. Magazine, Parent Magazine, Edutopia, Ms. in the Biz, The Good Men Project, No Kid Hungry, Multicultural Kid Blogs, Video Librarian, and in many other online publications. Fischer holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.A. from Harvard University in Middle Eastern St
