David Blount
David Blount focuses on co-developing strategies with communities of color that fully equipping neighborhoods to break cycles of poverty for children and families. He brings nearly a decade of experience as a social policy researcher and community practitioner, developing solutions that support child health and development, safe and secure housing, and upward mobility for families of color. David previously worked at the Urban Institute in Washington, DC where his work focused on housing solutions to make neighborhoods more livable, equitable, and sustainable. David holds an MSW from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and BAs from Loyola University Chicago.
