Michelle Hoffmann
Michelle Hoffmann serves as director of Arts Education at the National Endowment of the Arts where she oversees grantmaking in arts education, focusing on preK-12 students, educators, and communities. She was the director of Education & Community Engagement at Washington Performing Arts, where she led in-school and community-based arts and global education programs, as well as collective impact work with partners in Washington, DC. She held prior positions at institutions including the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Washington National Opera, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Hoffmann has a degree in music performance from Duquesne University and a certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy through National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania.
