Renée Johnson
Renée Johnson-Richter, M.S., is a seasoned expert in adult learning, workforce development, and instructional design. As Founder and Chief Learning Officer of Third Coast Learning, she brings over 30 years of experience in creating customized training solutions across various organizations. Renée is pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Learning Sciences with a focus on Instructional Design and Educational Technology at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Renée’s professional background includes serving as a Regional Training Director at a Fortune 200 company, where she oversaw training for thousands of technicians and managers within her region. For nearly ten years, Renée served as an Adjunct Instructor at Del Mar College, focusing on adult learning and workforce development. She also played a pivotal role in the UpSkill Coastal Bend initiative, addressing regional skills gaps and enhancing workforce readiness.
Renée is currently the Vice President of the ASCD TAMUCC chapter and actively contributes to IEEE ICICLE, advancing learning engineering in professional settings.
