Emily Smith-Buster

Emily, a proud public school advocate, has spent most of her career in the classroom and now serves as the Blended & Personalized Learning Program Manager at Region 13. In addition to managing the program, she curates center-wide gatherings fostering human connection and learning across departments. Previously, Emily was an Instructional Designer at Region 13, collaborating with statewide networks to develop online courses with personalized learning elements. Before joining Region 13, she served as a Technology Design Coach for five years, focusing on blended and personalized learning at the district level. Emily's foundation remains her classroom experience, shaping her educational philosophies and commitment to student success in every role.
