Imani Wilson
Imani e Wilson is Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at TeachRock. She is an arts educator, writer and choir member. A born and raised New Yorker of Caribbean parentage, Wilson is an independent scholar whose work on Black song/dance, sonic memory, and soul thought includes liner notes, essays published in anthologies, magazines and journals in the states and the UK. Wilson is at work on a collection of essays on aquatic themes in Black sacred music titled Deep: The Songs We Sing Down Here Below.
