Greg Toppo

Greg Toppo is a longtime journalist and author of two books on education. His latest, co-authored with educator James Tracy, is Running with Robots: The American High School’s Third Century, (MIT Press, 2021). From 2017 to 2021, he was president of the Education Writers Association. From 2020 to 2021, he taught journalism at Northwestern University in Qatar. In Fall 2022, he was a Visiting Journalist in Residence at Knox College in Illinois. He is a senior writer at The74Million.
