Jeanne Mccarty

Jeanne McCarty is the CEO of Out Teach, a national education nonprofit that prepares the next generation of innovators through early and immersive science education. Growing up in Mississippi as the daughter and granddaughter of educators, Jeanne's passion for hands-on learning was deeply influenced by her upbringing. She became Out Teach's first CEO in 2007, expanding it nationally and impacting hundreds of thousands of students and teachers. With over three decades of experience, McCarty's career has focused on inspiring young people to apply knowledge. She previously led Dr. Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots program and served as Vice President of the Jane Goodall Institute.
