Boosting Student Engagement Means Getting Serious About Play
Engaging students is a complex challenge for educators, administrators, parents and ultimately the future workforce. New research shows that students who are engaged not only do better in school, but they’re also happier and more confident in life. Their engagement also has a direct impact on educators, who say they’d be happier at – and less likely to leave – their jobs if their students engaged more deeply. This session will explore how playful learning is a joyful, effective way to get students and teachers excited about learning again – and the very serious science behind why it works.
