In this interactive workshop, you will explore applying program models that enable youth to build 21st century innovation careers through economic empowerment. In a rapidly changing workforce and education landscape, Earn-to-Learn programs end the false choice of under-resourced teens: work a job, earn now OR do a STEAM program, prepare for your future. You will learn from Dent Education's experience employing youth, running a youth co-owned business, and integrating stackable credentials. Then, using design thinking, you will brainstorm and create prototypes to implement in your own work.
